Exhibition at Dongmen Gallery / Tainan, TW
Ar/t/chitecture was born as a multi-environment project, where the artists would not only create in the public space of the Yuguangdao island community in the city of Tainan, but they were also invited to create a series of canvases for the occasion.

These artworks would complement the voice and strength of their open space creations, with the intimacy of the space of License Art Gallery, one of the finest galleries in the city. The exhibition offered an open dialog with a selection of Taiwanese artists that were invited to participate with their own choice of artworks.

License Art Gallery offered the ideal space for these artists’ dialog. The exhibition opening succeeded in gathering the artists from different backgrounds and origins to join the celebration of this cultural and artistic exchange, made possible by the artists and by the representatives of the Tainan City Culture Department, the Netherlands Office in Taipei and the Polish Office in Taipei, together with the local art community.
